KMI’s Applied Tactics Division Instructor Team is comprised of experts, current and veteran professionals with proven experience in the field. Our elite instructors draw from decades in the field, using direct applied knowledge and honed expertise to deliver exceptional training rooted in experience.
Danny Zelig received his first Military Krav Maga Instructor Certification in 1987 while serving in a combat unit within an elite infantry brigade in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Danny began his lifelong passion for teaching Krav Maga while teaching Krav Maga to active infantry units in the IDF. A globally recognized source of high quality genuine Israeli Krav Maga, Danny has over 30 years of experience practicing and teaching Krav Maga to civilians, military, and law enforcement.
Kfir Cohen currently serves on reserve as an anti-terror, CQC, and hostage response instructor for the IDF Lotar Eilat in Israel. He previously served as a shooting and CQC instructor for governmental agencies and IDF units. Kfir holds many instructor certifications, including the elite IDF Military Krav Maga Instructor Certification. He also holds a 2nd degree Black Belt in Shotokan Karate and a 1st degree Black Belt in Kickboxing.
Izhac Grinberg currently serves as the Head of the Krav Maga and Riot Division of the Israeli Police Department. He is a veteran of the IDF where he served in a special unit within an amphibious infantry brigade, and also served in the Israeli SWAT team. Dr. Grinberg has over 30 years of experience practicing and teaching Krav Maga, beginning with an IDF Military Krav Maga Instructor certification in 1987. He also holds a Ph.D. in History and a 4th degree Black Belt in Shoto Ryu Karate.
Opher Har-El is a certified Israeli Tactical Point Shooting instructor, drawing on over 30 years of Krav Maga training after receiving his training in Military Krav Maga while serving in the Israel Defense Forces.
